Located west of Eagle Grove, this large deck girder bridge crosses the Boone River near Calhoun Avenue.
Built in 1902 to replace an earlier bridge, this structure features two standard deck girder spans, set onto stone piers. It is approached by trestle on the west side.
This is the first large bridge along the Three Rivers Bike Trail, which begins using this grade at Calhoun Avenue. The bridge features girders built in 1902, a year which this route saw major upgrades.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, as most bridges along this trail are.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
